HOW 2 GET INTO IEDA-TUM & LIFE @

First of all IEDA-TUM is Institute of Electronic Design Automation @ Tecchnical University of Munich......
We came here on 12th May. But had joined officially on 15th May(as 13,14 were weekends). We thought tht it wud be easy to join. Just go N they will show the room where we got to work. But it really was not as easy as we expected.
First of all we had to get ourselves registered at some official place. Its the place which maintains the records of all people who come to Germany. Gettin to tht place was also a bit confusin as it was the first time we happened to go there. We were given a map of U-Bahns and Buses in Munich city and were shown the place where to go. Thts wht our guides did at the max. SO, took the map N reached the office. Its completely online process over there.. Guess it is also the place where the Federal police who come to check our VISAs (durin our Tours) call fr verification....[Not sure, just a phatte.. Rajat ke saath rah rahke .....] So, got tht work done.

Later we had to open a bank account. It is for the stipend we get here. They don't diretly give it to our hands(Donno whyyyy....).. So, we had to go to the bank. Came to know where the bank is N got an account opened there. U know, here thebanks have some gud offers, like, if we show tht some1 recommended us to open a bank account in tht bank, the bank ppl give some gifts to tht recommender. As we were two, our recommender got a DVD PLAYERRRR.... hahaha..(He didn't come along wid usss, was havin some urgent work tht day)

N finally, we have completed all the external official works. Now comin to the lab N our guides...
We were given a room which has two comps.. N U know, my guide strted teachin me all the stuff the first day I met him. Actually I was expectin like he mite say "ok, U ppl have done all the formalities, will strt work tomorrow..".. But one thin, My Guide is a damn cool one N also the kooolest of all the PhD candidates here. Always keeps mockin N jokin.. Also he is very intelligent. Speaks fundoo English N also is handsome(Already has a gal frnd...fr the gals who read this hehehehe). He also made a software for bettin in which we also involved. Its regardin FIFA 2006. Both of us are anyways far behind in the race..
Comin to Rajat's guide.. He is a bit calm person. He is not tht fluent in speakin English N hence feels a bit problem to communicate. He always comes b4 us in the mornin..(We reach arnd 9:15-9:30 Am).
We also play Table soccer(Not daily but frequently...)... Presently both of us are masterin in tht..
So, finally Njoyin the work hereeee......................

COOKIN USIN ENGG BRAIN

THE COOKING
Date: 13th May, 2006 onwards Time: Whenever feeling hungry

On saturday morning the first thing which came across our minds was wht to cook. As I already said Rajat is a gud cook, he took the responsibility of cooking and I took the responsibility of cleanin the dishes. Tht was the strt.
Rajat as he was confident of makin Maggi, has strted wid tht. Believe me ppl, Rajat really makes damn delicious Maggi... I haven't had it in my childhood till I have been to IT. N here I donno how many times I consumed it. I too tried to cook. I cooked the potato curry in some new style(wrt Rajat, but its wht I have at my home). It also turned out to be successful. So, we got confidence on ourselves and later thought of nothin. Tht time we were glad tht we cannot spoil any curry unless we intend to..

I always had Rice frm the beginnin(Rajat brought it frm his home..). But Rajat came to know tht we get Rotis readymade in a Turkish Shop. So he consumed them fr one month N later he too shifted to Rice. U know we ppl here get Basmati Rice(Bought 5 Kgs here.). It really looks gr8. N ya somethin abt readymade Rotis. Its nothin. We buy them and later heat them and consume. They are good. So, fast naa..
The curries we prepared are Onion fry(First day Rajat tried this, It turned out to be a success, but we didn't continue it), Potato-onion, Mixed veg(Don't be in an impression tht we have bought different vegetables and made this curry. U get Matar+carrot+some maize+butter ina single pack. This made our lives easier), Potato(rase waali..:) ), Mixed veg also rase waali, Lady's Finger N ya forgot to mention DAL FRY(It was made very delicious by Rajat). Also the best part fr me is we get damn gud curd here. So, U know if curd is there, nothin can keep me hungryy.....

U ppl know one thin.. Wht's the base of our curries here???? The Onion fry. We fry Onions all the time fr every curry(except DAL). So the AD is we will be able to spoil the curry to the minimum extent. Tht was really a wonderful idea which struck our ENGG brains. Ya, it was wid brain we cook here, N U guys know Rajat; how big a phattebaaj he is, just gives phattes fr each N every stuff tht takes place.. N the stunnin fact is that they turn out to be true(except fr very a few..:) ). Each N every damn fault tht occurs when we cook the first time was analysed N care was taken tht we don't repeat the mistake again.. (real Engg. analysis naaa.. I didn't do such analysis even in my Engg.. :) )

N Ya in few days we r gonna try Palak curry. Donno how it will turn out to be(TUM LOG NAZAR MATT DAALNAAAAAAAAAAAAA).
